Let's Go Catering, based in Staffordshire, provides four main styles of catering; Let's Go Mexicana which provides a Mexican-themed menu with a variety of Mexican food types, Cod Do Batter which is a fish and chip van on the go, Steak Hut which provides steak-centric sandwiches or burgers and finally Authentic German Bratwurst - the traditional sausage stall.

What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?

For a comprehensive quote we require the exact date and timings of the event, as we have an action packed calendar. We need to know the rough location for our travelling costs (where we actually are is not an issue as we can trade anywhere). We require the number of guests within around 20 people. Based on these three factors we can provide an accurate quote.

What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Firstly, I would look at the suppliers previous reviews in detail, then do some extra online research by googling the companies name. Secondly, I would ask for health and safety documents, gas certificate, PAT testing, hygiene rating, you can also check by googling the company name and scores on the doors for the
rating out of 5. Thirdly, ask if there is anywhere you can attend to taste the food to confirm the quality.

Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.

I started 'Let's Go Mexicana' in 2011 after winning a grant and began to trade at all types of events, since then we have added a few more strings to our bow and created 'Let's Go Catering', offering the perfect mix of food for weddings and parties. Our Mexican stall caters for vegetarian/vegan guests and spice lovers while our fish and chip van offers a traditional alternative. We wanted to be part of the casual eating scene and to grow with it.

Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?

I fed 200 guests at a wedding on New Years Eve. This went fantastically well, we worked brilliantly together from the first contact, specifying the menus to the guests needs and our business needs. Everything ran like clock work and all guests were extremely pleased with the food offering. I always recommend personal customers to Add To Event when I am busy myself.
