What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?
For me to provide a quote, I will need the following. The event date, start & finish times, type of Party you are wanting, the number of guests, and venue. From this, I can provide you with a quote suited for your party needs and provide the best equipment needed.
What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Always ask the provider about the services they are offering. Ask the provider about their experience and why they are good what they are offering. After all, we are entertainers, so that should be our main goal. Also, find out about their equipment as better quality equipment provides a nice sound & viewing pleasure.
Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.
JMD Entertainments was born after realising I was I high demand for doing people’s parties! I have spent over a decade as a wedding & party DJ, providing great service and giving people the day of their dreams. I wanted to create a mobile disco company that had customer focus at its core. The one people always wanted for their parties.
Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?
There have been so many bookings through this platform. If I had to pick one, it would be the wedding at trades halls in Glasgow. I entertained 160 people. The reviews were amazing, they were amazed at how I pulled off such an amazing night. The client and guests were very happy and are using me again for their next event. I have recommended and recommend Add to Event to all my friends as well as anyone who does something that is relevant to the events sector. Add to Event is still growing, I do my part to promote the platform.
