I like to create an Ibiza vibe at events so the music that I play can range from melodic house, techno and classic dance anthems.

I'm probably not the best choice for your party or event if you want ABBA, Venga Boys, Taylor Swift etc, and although I enjoy a lot of pop music, I prefer to keep it all a bit 'housey' with tracks from artists like the Shapeshifters, Mark Knight, Michael Gray and other more soulful and funky disco-based artists.

Despite my preferred DJing style, my most recent event was for a couple celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary. I discussed their music preferences before the event and tailored the set to exactly what they wanted, which was a 70s party! By the end of the night, the whole room was rocking to Bay City Rollers and Mud!

The event before that was a 30th birthday party. They gave me a very broad brief of 'Disco'! I therefore researched the music that would most likely mean something to them and was delighted to see the floor filled to Kylie, Beyonce, Sia, Tom Grennan etc. I've also done many outdoor garden parties which always go down very well in the daytime, and often go on into the night.
