What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?
For us to provide a competitive quote for our clients, we need some basic information, to tailor your quote around your event. We ideally need the event date, venue & type of event, which you are looking at holding. This gives us a better understanding of your event, so we can give you a bespoke quote for your special requirements.
What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Firstly, check the provider out, to see what they are offering. There are a lot of entertainment providers about, so you need to check, do they have insurance? Is their equipment PAT tested? Do they come highly recommended from previous customers? What equipment are they using, most professional companies will be able to show you photos and set ups from previous events.
Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.
Karl is the proud owner and your main contact for KSD Events. Karl has always had a passion for music, from a very young age. Starting out with just a basic rig, Karl soon took the business to the next level offering much more than just your normal disco. Now offering Photo Booths. LOVE Letters, Dance Floors, Live Bands, Magicians & Much More all across the East Of England.
Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?
This platform is brilliant, we have had loads of bookings, with the end result of happy customers. If I had to choose one it would be a large high end wedding in a private marquee in Suffolk. With over 450 guests in attendance, it was certainly one to remember for all the right reasons. We had several reviews on and after the night, asking us back for other occasions.
