Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.

I got into mobile discos simply because we were having a party, and I had the biggest record player. At that party, somebody asked if I would play at her party next week, and the same happened at the next one. From such small beginnings, Excalibur Mobile Disco was born, and has been in operation for over forty years. The crates of vinyl have become hard drives, the spotlights are now LED rather than those hot filament lamps, and that special track can be obtained mid-gig from internet sellers if there is an internet connection. Do I miss the old days? No, I don't.

Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?

I have only joined Add to Event recently, and although I have already secured work from this service, I have yet to fulfil my first one. I'm looking forward to that one, because the music the client requested is not the run of the mill wedding music that I often am required to play, and it will give me a chance to show that not all discos are the same. I have to say that compared to other similar facilities, I am impressed with the number of leads provided, how easy it is to respond to them, and above all, how cost effective it is proving to be. I would recommend Add to Event to clients and businesses alike.
