What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?
Our quote system is simple. We need to know the date, timing and venue for your event, the type of function you're having and what kind of package you're looking for. With this information, we can create a customised quote personalised to your (and your party's) needs. We're happy tailoring packages and we'll always agree to a face-to-face meeting so that you can get a great idea of who you're booking for your event!
What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Firstly, do you know about the supplier and the types of function they provide for? Do they have a range of positive reviews on their website or Facebook pages? Are they offering the exact package you're looking for with high-quality sound and lighting? If you're after extras (such as an LED dance floor, photo booth or LOVE letters etc.), can they provide you with these or would you need to go to another supplier for these?
Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.
We started the business as we felt there was a gap in the market for premium, beautifully-presented packages. While we offer a wide range of setups, all of our systems feature outstanding sound, dynamic lighting and experienced DJs. We're also strongly focused on customer service and we aim to offer an easy-to-use, transparent booking process with the opportunity for clients to leave feedback at the end.
Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?
We've had several memorable parties booked through Add to Event, but a great one was the wedding we catered to in Gretna Green. Despite there only being around 30 guests present at the party, it felt (in the words of the bride) like there were 130 with the dance floor packed all night and a wonderful party atmosphere for all. We got a lovely 5* for the party and we'd be delighted to return to such a beautiful venue again.
