What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?

For Jump Beat to provide an accurate fixed fee to our customers, we would love the event date, brief description of the event type, number of guests, type of venue and style of music you require. We only ask for the style of music to ensure we can provide you with the perfect atmosphere on the day.

What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Firstly, I would ask the provider about the music style they enjoy. If they are passionate about the music style that you require the chances are they will do a brilliant job. Not all music styles are for everybody so it's best to understand the DJ and his background before booking.

Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.

I have had a passion for music for over 15 years. I sent myself off to the Kent DJ Academy to learn how to mix and create my own style of music. I received glowing testimonials from the Lead Tutor and following this I knew I had only one thing I wanted to do. I created a small business to provide music entertainment to clients. My passion evolved from mixing music to include running a successful and trusted small business.

Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?

Recent bookings include a 30th Birthday Party in Clapham North. They wanted a 3-hour daytime set in the sun with Ibiza style vibes. In the evening they required lighting and another 3 hour set of upbeat dance music. Jump Beat had everybody at the party in one room, singing and dancing the night away. In such a small room we created a huge atmosphere. Other bookings include a Football Teams end of season party for 70 people and a private garden party for 30 people. No matter the occasion we use a wide range of music to reach out to everyone. Jump Beat understand that any story needs music, just like the movies, events need music! We know how to create the party and keep you dancing. Music is our main foundation, and we can provide varied musical styles to promote dance and the dance floor animation.
