The Pie Creator is a small business providing numerous pastry products using top quality ingredients from simple but scrummy pie, mash and pea events, to a traditional chef carved buffet, with dressed salmon and hams and plenty more besides!
What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?
To provide a quote we need to know the event date, the venue, the number of guests and a guide to the type of catering required.
What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
To be aware that there are a number of providers that will be only too happy to use ‘bought in’ products to meet requests for unrealistic prices.
Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.
The Pie Creator is owned and run by Nigel who has been a chef for over 35 years. Carved buffets, fish dishes and making Gala Pies are particular specialities. Fresh, local and top quality ingredients are paramount along with providing personal and good service for clients.
Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?
We have had an assortment of events through Add to Event and gained great reviews. A Christmas Lunch service to a group of residents from a retirement community was so popular they immediately booked two further events with us.
