What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?
For a quote we ideally need to know, the date and event location with an estimated serving time. The type of event and an estimate of the number of guests and the type of venue. We can cater for most dietary requirements but that wouldn't need to be provided until nearer the time.
What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
I would look up the provider on social media platforms to see the kind of setup they offer and customer reviews. Ask about dietary requirements and if they offer additional services I may require for my event. If they need anything provided so I'm not dissappointed on the day.
Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.
I have been cooking for years, I'm more of a food enthusiast than a trained chef but have worked with some fantastic chefs and learned a lot. It's my love for Italian food which took me to buy my own pizza oven and once I tasted it created at home I've never looked back. There are so many flavours and fantastic creations you can use on a pizza. Since my first booking, I have pretty much been booked every weekend for the last 2 years and will never look back as I love what I do, I love the feedback and the amazing places my pizzas take me!
Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?
Wow there have been a lot of bookings now through Add to Event, one that stands out is a 100% vegan wedding at the Browning Bros wedding venue based in Essex. I worked hard with the bride and groom to source the best vegan alternatives for their pizzas from the"mozzarella" to the pepperoni!
I will admit this one had my anxiety going as I wanted it to be the best it could be as we also provided sides and desserts which also needed to be gluten-free and the feedback was amazing as well as the review I received the following day.
Definitely worth the hard work.
