What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?
In order for us to provide a comprehensive quote, there are a few things we need to know, the type of event,
number of guests, location and date and also dietary requirements. Cheers!
What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
I would ask the supplier about their experience, “Tommy Smith” might have the coolest food truck out there but drove a taxi all his life and now could potentially be cooking at your wedding/party. So you need to check the suppliers experience in the food industry and try and find reviews.
Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.
The Old Dough Hook Pizza co. started in 2017 combing two of my greatest loves, cooking and vintage vehicles. I have been a chef for almost 20 years, with several 1 & 2 Michelin starred restaurants on my CV, I then went into the private sector of the industry working for the rich and famous on super yachts and in their private houses. This enabled me to save hard for my dream food truck
Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?
Add to Event has been great for us with such a wide range of events/parties we have been asked to do.
My favourite so far has to be a 21st birthday in Morten-in-Marsh. We arrived at the requested time of 2 am and cooked pizzas all night for some very drunk yet friendly 21-year-olds, we slept well on that Sunday!
I’ve recommended Add to Event to every caterer I know and everyone I meet. It’s been great for us starting out!
