What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?

All we need to know from a client is the date of the event, the location, their ideas on the type of food
that they would be interested in if possible. Everything else we can sort out later. We like to offer a bespoke service for every client and add the little personal touches that make the difference.

What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

If I was looking for a caterer on Add to Event, then firstly I'd want to know as much about the
company as possible. A connection with the company contact is essential, and as many of these occasions are special you need to trust your supplier. As they are in high demand due to their exceptional service, it is important to book your supplier once you know they are suitable for your event.

Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.

I've been in the catering trade since I was thirteen and have worked all over the country in a variety of businesses. I spent some time doing event catering and really enjoyed the different types of work that you get to do. Therefore this seemed the obvious direction to head in my career, plus I get to work with my family so it really is the best of both worlds. I started with doing small parties on my days off for friends and family. I really enjoyed it as it was nice working directly with the clients that are eating your food.
It's certainly what I will be focusing on in the future.

Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?

My first booking on here was for a birthday party and it was a really nice family occasion. The client got involved and was really interested in how we were cooking, and I hope that they all learned
something from it too. We are now doing a bonfire party for one of the clients at the party.
It was really easy to get in touch with the client and Add to Event gave me a platform I could use to meet new clients and build my business.
