Advice is given below on what to ask when booking a supplier for your event.
What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?
For us to be able to supply a comprehensive quote we would require, the Event date, the venue in mind and a brief summary of the event and type of guests and atmosphere that they are trying to create. From that point, we can then move forward to design a suitable solution to meet your requirements.
What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
I would like to be able to experience a small taster of previous events that the supplier has worked on in the past, either in photos or videos from past events. I want to know that my event is being handled by a professional organisation providing care and consideration over my event.
Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.
Horizon Events Group was created in 2010 over a passion for live events and technical production! I have spent many years fine-tuning the needs and requirements of the industry and events - and after seeing many other companies supplying sub-standard equipment and services, I knew there was a place for a smart, professional and high-standard production company!
Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?
All the clients we have met and spoken to through Add to Event have been amazing to work with! The platform provides a perfect bounce board to start a conversation, with a brief description of their event. We can then use this information to provide a proposal for their event along with any other suggestions that may work.
