What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?

For the best possible quote we need to know how many guests you've invited, what drinks you would like and whether you would also like bespoke signage. VinoWagen is a hightop VW Swiss Post Bus,
so we're best suited to outdoor events - or indoor events with access over 2.4m high. It would be helpful if you also told us whether you're happy with our - very good quality - draught Frizzante, or require champagne or Prosecco in bottles.

What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Hiring a wine or Prosecco bar is very much a matter of personal taste and the style you're looking to create. If you want a very slick and modern bar, there are plenty of choices available. VinoWagen is a beautifully restored 1967 VW Swiss post Bus with bars made from upcycled wine crates. So we're ideal if you want a quirky or retro ambiance: and especially if you want to bespoke your event with specially designed signage.

Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.

We've always loved Italy's Prosecco region, and are passionate about bringing high quality Frizzante - which is what the Italians call Prosecco when you serve it on draught - as well as bottled Prosecco and Aperol Spritz to events in the North of England. Then we found Florence the VinoWagen near the city of Treviso, and just had to bring her back to the UK and restore her to her former glory. It was a long restoration project, but most people who meet Florence tell us that it was entirely worth the effort.
