What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?
To quote we need the date, an idea of what type of event is being hosted, the number of attendees and the venue. We are very flexible and can adapt for any type of event. We are always happy to make suggestions for each event or can work to make your perfect bar idea a reality!
What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Ask plenty of questions! Ask about what's on the menu and ask for a list of prices if it's a cash bar. You want to check that your guests are paying reasonable prices for their drinks. How the drinks will be served and ensure that licensing is taken care of and the vendor is insured. I'd recommend always having a call/video call with the provider so that you can talk through your event. They should always be able to answer any questions that you have.
Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.
After a decade working on Cruise ships and travelling the world, it was time to return home and lay down some roots. I'd seen a Prosecco van previously and loved the idea of starting a business in my home county of Norfolk. Customer service has always been at the heart of what we do and providing reasonably priced and tasty drinks. In the last 3 years, our business has evolved and although we still love Prosecco, we serve a range of drinks and have just launched our own cocktail brand too!
Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?
We have done several events through Add to Event. We love the weddings but we also provided cocktails for an outdoor festival-style concert for 5000 people that contacted us through this site. It led to 4 more events from the same organiser!
