What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?
For a comprehensive quote to be given, we would require some information. Nature of the event, location, indoor or outdoor, amount of staff required, customer demographic, amount of customers attending, would a control room be required etc.
What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
The best advice I can give is to look for someone with experience in the industry. The security and event industry is a smaller industry than people think, and those in it usually have experience of large and small events, although, not all have the experience of every aspect of the industry, from starting off as a steward, to running control rooms at major events and to managing sectors at major events also.

Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.
After working for a large event security company for over 14 years, I decided to move into running my own business. With my own company, I can have greater control of standards that we offer, levels of customer service to increase drastically, staff training, and I can take CSCM in new directions that my previous employer wasn't going.
Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?
Since joining this platform only very recently, I have sent out several quotes for some events in the local area and much further afield, and I am looking forward to getting more work for my staff and myself in the forthcoming years.
