What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?

To provide a comprehensive quote to a customer, I would need the date of the event a brief explanation of the type of event you are hosting, estimated number of guests, potential venue and the location, and whether its an indoor or outdoor event. With this information, I can use my experience and expertise to put together a suitable quotation for you.

What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Ask the provider about their experience, personally I wouldn't want to spend money on a singer who has only performed a handful of times and does this as a hobby. I would ask the provider for a live video of them performing as opposed to one that has been recorded. Also where they have played and how many people they have performed to. After all, we are professional singers and our main goal is to sell our talent and experience, the proof is in the pudding!

Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.

I started my business because it's my lifelong passion and ambition. I first started to play the guitar when I was just 10 years old. I have never looked back since and I now have over 15 years of experience performing in front of audiences of all shapes and sizes! Not only have a crafted a professional set of dynamic fun songs for private and corporate events, but I also have an eye for an audience. I know what songs work well at specific events and it's my job to provide you with the most suitable tailored set to suit your specific requirements! I not only sing but I entertain as and when necessary. I moved abroad at just 18 years old to become a Thomson Holidays Entertainer and Children's Rep. I have a level 2 + 3 equivalent in childcare, and I learnt how to deliver professional sound and lighting, as well as comer professional entertainment shows! All of these skills have been developed over 15 years and I am very proud and passionate to be the best I can be in the job I was born to do.

Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?

Although I am an experienced singer I am pretty new to Add to Event. I heard good reviews about the site so I have signed up. I was most recently booked through the council in Warrington to perform at a fireworks display. I very much enjoyed this event as it was professionally organised, both the client and I understood each other's needs and the event was a huge success! Please check out the review!
