What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?
For us to provide a comprehensive quote for a potential customer, we need to know the date and time of your event, a potential venue, a brief explanation of the type of event you are planning and an estimated number of guests. As a company, we are very flexible and all details can be amended up to 14 days before your event. All of our prices are transparent and on our website, so you won't be hit with any hidden charges and we can usually give an accurate, comprehensive quote from the outset.
What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
I would advise customers to know what they require and only deal with companies who can meet your requirements. Planning events can be stressful enough, without a company trying to sell you something you don't want. Ensure the company you decide to handle your booking is the right company for you and they are capable of bringing your ideas to fruition. Also be wary of companies, who are incredible cheap, as cheap is what you will receive. We have dealt with a few customers who have been left incredibly disappointed by overly cheaply priced companies. There are a lot of companies offering services, who simply don't meet a good enough standard, so make sure you do your research and pick the right company for you.

Sugar Mama Sweet Store was started because of my love for events management, with over 10 years experience organising high-end corporate events, end-to-end, I wanted to branch out and do something of my own and this gave rise to Sugar Mama Sweet Store. I have a passion for making people's dreams come true, for providing an amazing, affordable service that really puts the client at the heart of everything we do. All of our services are personalised and bespoke to meet the needs of each and every client and we go above and beyond to ensure that every customer experience is 5*.
Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?
We have had multiple bookings through Add to Event and through this platform, we have had several referrals and increased the traffic coming through to our website. There are two bookings that stand out as our favourite - the first was a large Indian wedding that we catered. We provided a halal candy cart and the feedback that we received from the client and their guests was unbelievable. As we were collecting the cart, guests kept coming over to thank us for our services and make enquiries for future events; it was so wonderful to know that people value our services and are so appreciative of our work. They left an amazing review, that left us on a high for several weeks. The second was an engagement party we catered for, the bride to be and her fiancé were so lovely to work with.
