What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?
To provide a comprehensive quote, we really need to know the important questions. 1) What is the date of the event 2) Where is the event taking place 3) Number of estimated guests they wish to cater for 4)Type of event and also if they have a budget in mind. Then from there we can put together products or menus that would suit the event and the clients budget.
What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Ask the candy cart provider their opinion on what they think would would work best for the event and ask if they are flexible - e.g. if there was something you did not like, could this be changed also are they flexible with dietary requirements.
Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.
The Candy Cart Company Fun Food stations and Catering stations was born 5 years ago when I couldn't keep out the kitchen and wanted to make people happy and smile. That's exactly what I did. I went on a mission and provided my first candy cart filled with old school confectionery, where my client laughed smiled and told me stories about how the candy reminded her of childhood. Things went from there and have grown and grown. I love my work and I love providing a happy, affordable and tasty service!
Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?
Well were do I start? Add to Event has been AMAZING from the start and I would recommend it 100%. I have already told many business friends and family in the event industry all about Add to Event. My events with Add to Event have gone extremely well; the client was provided with a chocolate fountain at one of the events where she was extremely happy with a positive review!
