In order for us to provide a comprehensive quote, we would need a bit of information about the type of event you are planning. We would need to know roughly how many you are inviting to your event, and also what kind of crockery you were wanting. We would then be able to come up with different options for you depending on your individual needs.

What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Customers should find out exactly what the company can offer for their event. Also, inquire how many the company can cater to - this is especially useful for our vintage crockery hire business. If we have enough time it would mean that we could source additional items and cater for extra guests.

Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.

Be Our Guest came about after organising a christening for our daughter/granddaughter last Summer. We felt that vintage crockery would be far nicer than paper plates and plastic cutlery so we started collecting bits and pieces. We were wondering what to do with everything once the christening was over, and came up with the idea of hiring it out for other people to enjoy. Also, it also means that we are doing our bit for the environment too!
