What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?

A brief explanation of the type of event i.e. a wedding, birthday party etc. The date, where the event is being held, if it's indoor or outdoor. The number of guests expected, how many hours the staff will be required to work and the tasks they will be undertaking as well as the uniform required.

I actually purchased the business from a friend, who recognised that I had a huge talent for organisation and a passion for customer service. Taking on this company was a great challenge and an offer that I knew I couldn't turn down, it has however surpassed my expectations and continues to grow and thrive.

Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?

There have been so many bookings! Most of them have been weddings and all very well received. One client whose wedding for 110 guests took place in Southampton said nothing seemed to go to plan, however, when our staff arrived she said it all fell together nicely as their calming experience helped in the final organisational stages so she could sit back and relax as she knew it was all in good hands. That's a really nice compliment!
