What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?
To be able to give you the most accurate quote, it's really helpful to know what style of wedding or colour scheme for florals and/or decor you are wanting and please feel free to include if there are any particular blooms you would like included.
We also need to know the type of florals or decor you need and the amount of each.
For example - 10x table centers, top table, welcome sign, large round bridal bouquet, 3 x bridesmaid posies... etc.
Please also include your wedding date so we can check our availablility.
What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
I'd advise you to have a good idea of what you are looking for, and research service providers/vendors for examples of their work, photo galleries on facebook, their website or pinterest etc. are a good place to start so you can decide if the style is what you are looking for and will meet your needs.
I'd also encourage you to not always go with what seems to be the cheapest option, it doesn't always pay off. Checking out vendors reviews on google or facebook for past customers/users.
Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.
To Have & To Hold was born out of a love for all things flowers and pretty and has grown over the past 5 years into a one stop shop for wedding and event flowers and decor.
I have a real passion for colour and design and its a real honour to be able to use this passion as part of my job and create beautiful florals and event decor for my customers.
As the business has grown I have developed a small team who all bring unique skills and abilities to enhance our service.
Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?
I'm very new to the Add to Event platform so am currently growing my profile to showcase what we can offer.
I am yet to take any booking through the platform but very much like the set up and it's super easy to use for both vendor/service provider and client.
We currently offer free delivery on all hire items within a 30mile radius of our studio (NN17) and are also happy to travel further afield at a small additional cost and we even stay at locations to help with set up, on the day moves/changes and takedown. We're looking forward to spreading our floral and event decor gorgeousness far and wide through Add to Event!
