What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?

For me to give a correct quote, I need to know what type of event you are holding and how many people are attending. The most important thing for me to know is for how many hours of photography coverage you are looking for and where your event is held. It is also helpful to know how many times I will have to relocate to different venues.

What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Firstly I would recommend the client to make sure that photographs on the website is the photographer's own work. Ask to see proof of insurance, these days often required by wedding venues, and also make sure there are no hidden costs and that you like photographer's style of photography.

Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.

I started photographing since I was a young child as my father used to be a documentary army photographer, I inherited this passion from him. Because I am not an army type of person, I chose weddings instead to bring my passion to, as I love to document the burst of emotions happening on that day.

Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?

I booked many events through Add to Event and every each of them was memorable in a way as every event is unique. However, the one that really left a big impression in me was an event held at Leeds castle. The beautiful surroundings and atmosphere were just stunning, the history of the castle and Battle hall there brought a special atmosphere in it, it was full of love, laughter and brilliant people. It was during the winter, but we had the sun shining on the day and got beautiful winter wedding photographs. Bride also announced her pregnancy, which made this day really special! This wedding left a big impression on me.
