What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?

To be able to provide a comprehensive quote we would need the date of the event, what type of event the customer is planning, number of guest and venue details. We also like to ask if the customer has an idea of what type of items/package they would like? Has the customer got a theme/colour scheme in mind? We also ask customers to send pictures of things they like and dislike if possible. From this, we can work with the customer and provide a design and price for the customer.

What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Speak to the company about the products they are offering, ask lots of questions and get a quote along with terms and conditions in writing. Make sure you do your research into the company and then check reviews from previous customers. I would also make sure you have at least one contact number and address details.

Wedding.partyplannersLTD was put together after many years of working in the events industry. In the early days, I started out as an Events Manager for another company. I always knew I would have my own wedding and events company one day and this came true in 2016, I set up my own wedding and party business as I knew with my love and passion for the industry would make me succeed. Our business is going from strength to strength and we have since expanded our business in the Bridal Hair and Makeup sector.

I have had lots of bookings through Add to Event, with one of them being a repeat customer. If I had to pick one booking it would be a wedding that we dressed a lovely beautiful venue called The White Hart Lydgate. The venue and wedding were amazing.
