What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?

The main things Cosmic Faerie need to know to provide a quote is: the location, date, time of the party & the expected number of guests. We always ask what type of event this is, and the age range so that we can tailor our design boards to your event guests.

What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

I would say check out the providers previous work, the type of events they attend, and also ask them if they have any reviews. Ask about the type of paints and supplies they use. Most face painters love chatting through their kit, and are happy to provide comprehensive information. It is always good to have a chat beforehand, via email, messenger or phone, so everyone knows what to expect on the day of the event.

Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.

I am Cosmic Faerie! I love colour and glitter, so face painting and glitter art is perfect for me. We are based in Staffordshire, but travel around to small gatherings to paint, as well as attending local events. Cosmic Faerie originally started as a tutu and fairy wing maker, but quickly realised that face painting was our favourite, so we now focus solely on this!

Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?

I am loving Add to Event! As a relatively new business it is really helpful to connect with people as well as make bookings. Add to Event has also given me the opportunity to reach people in the local and surrounding area, that would not have heard of me otherwise. Checking the website throughout the day, every day is a must do on my list!
