It was 2015. I was not the official photographer. But there I was, having been asked by the best friend of my partner to take pictures at her wedding. I enjoyed it thoroughly, but thought nothing more of it when I delivered her my images. It wasn’t until the happy couple visited us some months after that I was surprised and delighted to find a good 30 out of the 100 images they had printed in a book belonged to me! And there it was. The moment I thought should really start doing this photography for a living. I’ve since had many couples entrust me to cover what is the biggest day of their lives. My background in fashion, portrait and street photography has undoubtedly informed the way I capture weddings. My passion for reportage photography means I like to feel like I’m the extra witness in amongst everything. There’s nothing more satisfying than supplying images that show moments the couple and their guests may have missed or not realised I was documenting at the time of capture. Again, it’s the street photographer in me, always trying to anticipate all those moments happening. I strive to ensure a couple has a lovely timeline of their day and not just the result of overly long portrait sessions.

I have also covered numerous weddings from a rather different perspective, as a DJ providing the soundtrack to the evening too. With a wide breadth of musical knowledge honed from years of experience of clubs, parties and corporate events, I’ve delivered many moments of joy on the dancefloor as well as behind the camera.
