About Elaire Creates
Monika Wilczynska is an award winning filmmaker, producer and photographer with a theatre, literature and philosophy background. Based in London, she has graduated in July 2016 with a Honorable First Class Bachelor of Arts Degree in Film, TV and Digital Media Production from Regent's University London, having achieved the highest results in the history of her course.
Working as Head of Production for Medical Realities since May 2016, she has produced and directed over 80 Virtual Reality 360 degree surgical training videos in the UK, US, India and Italy, including the world's first live streaming of an implant operation in VR. Her graduation short film, Who I Am, won 5 awards, including Best Director and Audience’s Choice and has been selected at over 20 Film Festivals worldwide, including Cannes, New Delhi, Montreal, Toronto, London, New York and Uganda.
As a freelance filmmaker and photographer, she has worked with organizations such as VICE UK, The Roundhouse, Frieze Art Fair, Olivia Burton Watches and Desmond Tutu Foundation. She collaborates with the Mayor's International Business Programme and London & Partners. She has appeared at a range of events as a keynote speaker (Trinity College Cambridge, WeWork Berlin, Lodha Mumbai, Sedona International Film Festival, Hull University, Founders 4 Schools), focusing on empowering women in film, virtual reality, education, LBTQIA rights and innovation. She heads a variety of freelance projects. Her work concentrates around under-represented communities and includes campaigns, commercials, music videos and short films. Monika is eager to team up with an international group of extremely talented individuals who are committed to making a positive impact on the world and is always on the lookout for new projects.
