With great emphasis on using fresh seasonal ingredients, I operate closely with local suppliers, farmers and growers.
I offer a variety of exciting bespoke menus that change with the seasons. My food is cooked with passion, using techniques gathered from an array of establishments, including Michelin Star and AA Rosettes restaurants within the UK and Europe, wedding venues and luxury golf clubs.
Before arriving at your event, I’ll prepare the menu in my own kitchen. On the evening of your dinner party or event, I will introduce each course as well as providing brand new tableware, leaving you with only the entertaining to do. Hiring a private chef to cook in your home may seem extravagant - but it is not as costly as you think. It is certainly no more expensive than going to a restaurant, especially if you consider that you won’t need to hire a babysitter or worry about calling a taxi, and most importantly, pay a huge mark-up on wine!

Absolutely fantastic!
I hired Peter to cater for a 90th birthday celebration for my Mum and her twin sister at my house. He, and his team of Andy and Agnes, were fantastic. The communication beforehand was great, the execution marvellous and the food delicious. The team were super friendly, extremely helpful and really took the stress away from me so I could focus on enjoying the party myself. I thoroughly recommend and would definitely hire again.
Exceeded expectations
I was a bit sceptical about using this type of ‘dating service’ to find a caterer for my husband’s birthday lunch but have nothing but praise for Gourmand Pierre. Peter was a delight to deal with from start to finish and he and his team produced a fantastic meal and were so friendly making our guests so welcome. Brilliant value for money and I can’t wait to use them again.
Exceeded my expectations
I cannot thank Peter and the amazing Moses enough. They went above and beyond. The communication was immediate. Catered to what I wanted and to my price range. Arrived on time made me feel completely relaxed and knew I could leave them to it. The Canapes for 30 people were out of this world. Better than I could have imagined. Moses was the most popular behind my bar. He was so attentive with a fantastic personality my guests loved him. The whole experience was way better than I could have asked for. I won’t use anyone else in future. Thank you doesn’t seem enough. But thank you for making my 50th the best night ever.
Fabulous service!
We had Pierre over to chef for my daughter's 21st birthday for a sit down meal of 14 (after canapes and drinks with another 6 guests). Pierre was great throughout the process - excellent, clear and responsive communications in the run up culminating in a fabulous meal on the night that was thoroughly enjoyed by everyone who attended. He was accommodating of changes in the runup and helped with wine selection and provision. On the night he served delicious food that he personally introduced. He and his team cleaned up spotlessly well after the meal (quite late by then!). He was charming throughout. I thoroughly recommend him.
The food made our event
I would highly recommended Gourmand Pierre to anyone who wants food that is different to the usual offering. All the food and service was handled so that I could focus on entering our guests. From start to finish, everything was done and my guests we happy. I couldn’t ask for more. An excellent evening and delicious food.
