About Mission Burrito
Our love affair with burritos started over a decade ago when we lived in San Francisco. We developed a border line burrito obsession in the Mission Districts taquerias. Unable to fuel our addiction back in the UK we quit our day jobs and set up Mission Burrito.
Our goal is to create the kind of burritos and tacos we’d like to eat if we weren’t so busy rolling them. We’re committed to making ridiculously good burritos with fresh ingredients, from scratch every day. We hope you love what we do.
We provide burritos, tacos, nachos and any Mexican custom requests where we can. We cater for gluten-free and vegan eaters and our range of fresh salsas mean that we cater for the coolest customer to fiery chilli-lovers. Our Chicken Tinga recipe comes from a chef in Mexico City - slow-cooked in our own Chipotle salsa. Our Carnitas Pork is a traditional recipe of red tractor pork shoulder slow-cooked with garlic, orange zest and thyme until fall apart tender. Our veggie/vegan option of Butternut Squash and Black Bean Chilli is just as popular with meat-eaters as vegetarians.
We hold a 5* Food Hygiene rating and can cater with our own generator (although we like to be kinder to the environment so an electrical hookup is preferable. We have a mobile trailer for outdoor events and can also accommodate indoor functions with our mobile counter.
