Quaff and Trough

Quaff and Trough is a rustic Rice double horsebox that has been converted into a high spec cocktail bar that caters to festivals and private events such as weddings, garden parties and other celebrations.

The name Quaff and Trough was inspired by the aim to provide a sophisticated cocktail bar type of service that allows its guests to "quaff" (drink copiously) and trough was added to represent both the agricultural element of a horsebox as well as the boys's own rural roots of Wiltshire.

Callum and Ollie are the owners and bar tenders, who have known each other since school and since spending many a night out together thought that they can make a success of providing delicious drinks to their customers alongside a premium quality customer experience at the bar.

We offer a range of services from the horsebox including an open bar or cash bar and can create a drinks offering that fits in with the theme of your event or a tailored menu of drinks that you'd prefer to serve.

Open Bar

Either you supply the alcohol and the only cost involved is a fee for delivery of the box, our time serving the cocktails and ancillary costs. Or we supply everything and record sales of all our drinks through our sophisticated reporting feature and we settle the tab with you after the event.

Cash bar

Your guests will be expected to pay for their drinks, we only charge you a booking payment. Please note we take both cash and card payments from the bar.

Hybrid offering

You can put a little bit of money behind the bar to give guests a free drink and once this is used the cocktail bar reverts to a normal cash bar.

Small festivals such as horse trials, polo etc.

Private parties such as summer garden parties, weddings and birthdays.
