We are Bobs and Suze, based in Taunton in the heart of beautiful Somerset. We make artisan pizza baked in our mobile, wood fired pizza oven, at events and private functions in and around the South West.
We believe in good food and make everything ourselves using fresh, quality ingredients which are locally and sustainably sourced wherever possible.
Our business is founded on ethical and environmental principles and we work with suppliers who share our vision.
Our pizza trailer was built using mostly upcycled and recycled materials, large parts of the trailer and stainless steel began their lives as parts of caravans before being transformed into our fabulous wood fired oven.
Why the Name?
Stone Artisan Pizza is named after a bar that we used to frequent; it was a simple bar with a projector screen on one wall and long wooden benches that promoted easy conversation. It had a little pizza oven in one corner from which they used to produce a steady stream of high quality food that fuelled many a nights drinking with great friends into the small hours. Sadly that bar no longer exists but we remember that bar with fondness and we aim to honour their memory!

Fabulous. Lovely people.

Great pizzas and salads served fresh throughout the evening. Communication was excellent throughout, and the style and speed of service was fully tailored to our needs on the night. Highly recommended!
Not a crumb left!
Suze and her brother were absolutely incredible on the day of our wedding. Their set up seemed to just magically appear, with the most incredible pizzas to follow. Their crispy bases and tasty toppings went down a storm with our guests. So much so that there wasn't a crumb left by the end of it! All throughout the process, Bobs and Suze have been brilliant to deal with. They were always assuring and very attentive to answer emails, along with countless silly questions. Thank you so much for making our big day even more special. We highly recommend Stone Artisan to anyone in need to tasty pizza and fantastic service.
Kind, friendly service with excellent pizzas!
Bobs and Suze from Stone Artisan Pizza were phenomenal - no task was too big for them! Even when people were fussy with toppings and the greedy boys kept going back for seconds and thirds the pizzas kept coming, consistently delicious too. They needed pretty much no assistance, I was able to keep my focus on the guests and the party, and suddenly they were set up with the oven ready to go. They were perfect and I hope to use them again for another party!

The guys were great, professional but friendly and relaxed. They took all the effort out of the catering and no request was an issue. All of our guests commented on how good the pizzas were. We really can’t recommend these guys enough!
