What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?

In order for us to provide a quote, we need the date (if known), where the event will be held, what the type of event is and whether it's indoor or outdoor. It's also helpful to know what kind of music you're looking at having for the event i.e pop, jazz, classical etc. If we think this is something that we can provide, we will provide a full detailed quote including costs.

What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Think about what type of music you want and try to find bands that suit that style. Watch the videos that they have on their website/socials so you can see and hear how good the band is. Ask for a full repertoire list and how long the act will perform for. Enquire about booking policy and look at Facebook and Google reviews.

Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.

Furious Styles was created purely because 6 musicians who were all friends and colleagues wanted to perform live purely for the love of music. The aim was and still is to be the best possible cover band that we can be. We have grown into a business that takes great pride in delivering the best possible concert every time we perform and making people happy.

Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?

We received quite a few bookings through Add to Event but one, in particular, stands out. It was a summer party near where we are based in Burnley that was held outdoor. It was a private event for a company and had it not been for Add to Event we would not have been provided such a great opportunity to work with such a great client.
