What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?
For us to provide a comprehensive quote to a customer, ideally we need the event date, a brief explanation of the type of event they are hosting, the estimated number of guests, and whether you will be supplying power and water. We have attended festivals, fates, charity events and even horse shows, so we would enjoy any type of party.
What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
If you're looking to provide food for your guests and you are paying for them to eat, you need to think about numbers and also how much you want to pay per head. For caterers like us, numbers and price per head are important as we can then work out if it is cost effective for us to attend. If your guests are paying for themselves, again, it would be subject to numbers. For us to attend, 12 people would not be cost effective.
Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.
Lottie's Kitchen was started because we wanted to offer good quality food and not make it just about profit. We are both deep sea divers and have seen first hand the amount of rubbish in the sea, so wanted to use as many biodegradable products as possible to lessen the impact to our planet. We also just wanted to get out there and meet people like you.
Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?
So, we have had a few now and we enjoy every event we attend. They're all different and everyone we do is a great opportunity to meet new people. I can't say we liked one above any other, The people that run the events have all been great. everyone has been friendly. Add to Event has become a very important part of our business as they really do provide a great service. Whatever you are looking for, here is the place to find it.
