What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?
Hello and thank you for visiting our profile. In order to give a comprehensive quote we need to discuss your location, type of event, numbers and menu. We create menus bespoke to each customer their needs and within their budget so we are unable to send out generic costings instead we prefer to tailor everything to you. After a chat we can get a better understanding of what kind of catering you require and use our knowledge and expertise to put together various menus.
What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Never be afraid to ask more questions! be clear on what you want and understand what is included in your booking. Never presume anything is simply provided and always question if there are any additional costs. Great food, provided by Great companies will always welcome questions.
Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.
After spending 18 years as a chef travelling all over the world and having the opportunity to compete in competitions and having catered in many weird and wonderful places I decided to start Cousins Catering with my Cousin David also an experienced chef. David left last year to move onto his own projects and we have continued to grow as a company. We now have a permanent kitchen as well as mobile street food trailers and trailblazer BBQs. This allows us to cater to almost any event type.
Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?
We are awaiting our first booking now after following the steps and becoming registered on the website. We have now contacted a few potential clients and are looking forward to our first event through Add to Event.
