What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?
We want to make your event planning journey as smooth and simple as possible, allowing you more time to get excited for your event and to enjoy the process. To be able to help you in the best possible way, we'll need to know details of the event date/timings, location, guest number and a rough idea on your budget.
We appreciate a lot of event preparation isn't quite at the final stages and so there will always be changes nearer the time, but the more accurate details you give, the easier it makes it for us to give you an exact quote and breakdown.
What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
We are not ashamed of having slight OCD when it comes to organising events and we would much rather you give us too much information, than too little. A lot of customers aren't aware that providers like ourselves have an extensive catalogue of skills and contacts. So there may be a service we can offer that you don't already know about, or at least, we can point you to another provider who can.
Recommendations and referrals are key in our industry and if it helps with the success of your event, we would much rather work alongside other providers to make it happen.
Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.
Sandbach Party Supplies came about one day during a dog walk in Covid lockdown. One of us had been made redundant and so we needed another source of income to support our family. Both of us have a wide range of experience in events, catering, bar, leisure, children's parties and many more areas. It just made sense that we start something we'd be passionate and well-equipped in. We wanted a one-stop party shop as it were, somewhere to buy supplies from or to also hire equipment.
Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?
We've had a few bookings since starting Add To Event recently and it's great to have a wider net of customers to reach and have the flexibility to offer a range of services all in one place.
Our favourite so far was setting up a balloon arch in the Trafford Centre, Manchester. It was a fairly simply job, but the excitement of the location was great and really rewarding to hear from friends/family that had seen it whilst shopping. It's the type of job we'd never usually get due to the competition locally, but corporate companies tend to go to websites like this one to reach suppliers and so it definitely paid off.
