What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?

For myself to provide a comprehensive quote to a potential customer, I need the date of the the event along with a brief explanation of the type of event and the venue. I also encourage the customer to inform me of any specific requirements they may have. Once I have this information, I will then be able to offer a custom quote ensuring I meet the customer's requirements.

What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

I'll start with a saying that's been around for some time - 'good dj's aren't cheap and cheap dj's aren't good'. Take your time making a decision, do some research, maybe ask friends for recommendations but plan well in advance. I get booked up early as do all the quality DJs. If someone is available at short notice, it's ok to ask them why. Perhaps they planned some time off or perhaps there's another reason. Ask if they are happy to meet up in advance before you part with any money, at the very least I recommend talking to them. Ask them questions such as can we provide a playlist, how do they see the evening going, will they be the DJ or are they part of an agency, are they insured, is their equipment PAT tested and so on.

Infiniti Disco came about through my love of music, simple as that. I have always enjoyed music and find it amazing that even if you haven't heard a song for years, you still know the words! Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?

It's about the people, it's as simple as that. Every event is different but the people I deal with are all lovely and it's a pleasure to provide my disco to them. I just want people to have a great time and, thankfully, all my events have been successful so won't comment on one - they are all great! I also don't look back but look forwards to future events to ensure everyone has a great time and leaves the event with a smile on their face!
