With over 20 years of experience in mobile disco hire, they cater from wedding receptions to parties of all kinds.
What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?
To provide a quote we require the event date, contact number, explanation of the type of event, venue, number of guests, email address and name of the client. We can provide an accurate quote when all of this information has been provided. A free consultation meeting helps to provide a correct and accurate quotation, especially for a Wedding Reception.
What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Make sure you understand what service you are receiving as not all DJ's are the same. For example, a DJ who is part of an association such as The National DJ Association of Disc Jockeys will have Public Liability Insurance and PAT tested equipment.
A professional DJ will regularly keep all equipment up to date, have method statements, risk assessments, keep in regular contact with clients, offer meetings, supply contracts, backup equipment and is dressed smartly. An unprofessional DJ will be cheap but not provide any of the above services. One final point is that cheap is not always good, so make sure you check reviews on the DJ beforehand.
Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.
Invitations Entertainment LTD was started two years ago and I have been a DJ for 15 years. Our service is excellent, and this is clear from our reviews. The company is a one stop shop for all your event needs. We are always investing in new niche markets, and are looking to provide a complete package for Weddings/Parties/Corporate events.
Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?
The birthday party booked through Add to Event went very well and everyone enjoyed themselves. The client loved dance music so I played to the crowd and added the customers songs throughout the night, which was provided by a playlist prior to the event. The client was over the moon with the service and booked for a 40th Birthday Party for his wife.
