Angel Faces provide face painting services in Woking, Surrey and beyond. Using high quality paints, their high caliber artists can choose from dozens of designs depending on what the child requests, and experienced glitter tattooists can also apply glittery tattoos to the body which last 2-7 days. In addition to this, Angel Faces can also deploy trained balloon modellers to ensure there is plenty for the younger members of your family to do!
What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?
Quotations for our services rely upon certain information being provided. Firstly, the date and time, the venue plus the duration of the event. If it is open to the public, an idea of footfall would be an advantage. For a birthday party the number of guests is vital because time is usually restricted. It is important to ascertain the space you would be afforded so that your equipment can be adapted for the area provided.
What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Always check that your service provider has the necessary experience to make your event a success. If they have a website or Facebook page, you can get a good idea of their standard. All entertainers should have Public Liability Insurance [if applicable to you] and they should provide all the equipment they need to give the performance asked for.
Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.
Angel Faces began over 25 years ago, volunteering at NCT events and charity functions. Many people asked about private parties at this time so we began and gained confidence whilst giving children a unique experience. We gradually introduced balloon modelling to our repertoire and were known really well locally. Since then, our reputation has grown and we travel further afield.
Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?
Our clients have included members of the Royal Family on more than one occasion, sports personalities and actors. Our favourite job is always the birthday party. You have to be strong to resist the offers of cake though, otherwise we would never fit into our car!
