What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?
To provide a quotation all we need is the basics - When, Where and How many to cater for. It’s as simple as that we can then send over options from Hog Roast through to Barbecue options.
What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Be open and honest with the caterers as to what you require, ask as many questions as you feel you need to - Question, where they get their Hogs from, are they free range? Will it be the person your speaking to or will it be someone else attending? Ask them how much of the ingredients/stock they use is locally produced or handmade not just shop-bought.
Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.
Hungry Hog South West was born 8 years ago and as a fully qualified chef saw that there was a market for a top-quality Hog Roast business in our area, we have gone from strength to strength in the last 8 years and having a lot of repeat business and an awful lot of word of mouth recommendations, we enjoy what we do and have a passion to deliver excellent service something which I would expect to receive myself from any company I hire.
Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?
Although I haven’t had many bookings through Add to Event yet, it has purely been down to not being available for the dates requested. However, the events I have done have been very easy from start to finish, working with Add to Event seems like a very easy process to follow once you are all set up.
