What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?
For us to provide a quote to a customer, we need to know the event date, the type of event they are hosting, the number of guests, what kind of food they would prefer and what kind of service too, if there is a kitchen available or if we need to bring our own equipment, and whether it's an indoor or outdoor event. Once we receive that information, we can use our experience to design the perfect event.
What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
First of all, I would ask the provider what food they are offering. Ask if they have a menu and what kind of services they offer. I would ask if they have a kitchen where they operate and if they have food hygiene rating. I would ask how many years in the business they have and if they can show me some reviews from previous customers and pictures.
Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.
Taverna Catering started in 2021 and is an idea of the two Italian Chefs Valerio and Giordano, where their traditional Italian background cooking style matches perfectly with their accumulated and varied experience in London, Barcelona and South America. Another person in the company is Francesco who had various experience as a manager in different hotels and restaurants. The link between us helps to create the perfect event for our customers. Our team of culinary experts is committed to providing great service and artisan cuisine of the highest quality for your special occasion, and we will do everything it takes to make this a reality.
Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?
We started recently using Add to Event and we have just done a couple of events with this website, and I found it very easy to use and understandable.
We had a canapes reception for 30 people and it was just great. The client was so happy with our service that they also left a nice review.
I hope Add to Event can grow more and we will try to do our part to promote it.
