A&S Disco and Karaoke
A & S Disco and Karaoke provide a wide range of music to disco, karaoke or party events throughout Kent and beyond. Though they specialise in 90s club hits, A & S Disco and Karaoke can play music from any genre or date from their library of 2500 songs and over 20,000 karaoke hits. All sound and lighting equipment is provided and set up by the DJ so all the client has to do is book and then turn up on the day!
What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?
For us to provide you with an accurate quote, information on date, times and venue would be perfect. If you could also let us know the type of event and if you require disco, karaoke or a bit of both. Let us know as well if you have any special song requests or if it's a surprise party.
What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
What type of music you would like and if the venue has restrictions of some types of equipment are important to know before you contact a provider. For example smoke machines are banned at some venues. Do any of your guests struggle with flashing lights? Only ever hire from a company with public liability insurance who have PAT tested equipment.
Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.
Adam & Stu started A&S Disco and Karaoke in the mid 90's mainly DJing at the parties of friends and colleagues. The business grew at a rapid rate without advertising, primarily through word of mouth. Over the years we have worked hard to keep our music and equipment up to date a well as looking and sounding fresh. We love doing the discos and karaokes, giving guests a real night to remember.
Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?
We did a hen party at Port Lympe hotel. It was a great night and we had so many song requests that they had to ask the manager if they could extend the party until 2am. The manager agreed and we still couldn't get though all of the song requests.
