What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?

For us to provide a comprehensive quote to a customer, ideally we need the event date, a brief explanation of the type of event they are hosting, the estimated number of guests, and a potential venue, whether it's an indoor or outdoor event. From this, we can use our experience and expertise to put together a suitable equipment list and design.

What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Firstly ask the provider what type of events they have covered and for how many guests. How they plan to have the marquees erected and decorated. Try and get an idea of their experience with reviews etc.

Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.

Jaydas Marquees were born out of love of creating great event spaces for people to gather together and enjoy their special moment. The idea was formulated during the christening party of our daughter. We wanted to gather people together in our home and we turned our garden to a great space and all the guests were Wowed!
