Based in Cornwall, Bangers on the Go Cornwall is a gourmet street food supplier that works out of a vintage rice horsebox. Covering Cornwall, they serve hotdogs, burgers, slow cooked pulled pork, vegan and vegetarian dishes for private events, markets and festivals.

What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?

To enable us to provide a more accurate quote, please ensure that customers supply as much information as possible. We will require the following information: numbers of guests, location and access to the site and power availability. If any information is unknown by the customer please ask for advice.

What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Potential customers should ensure that the service they are interested in are able to supply the correct food or drink in the required timescale. Ensure the mobile caterer is able to serve at your required speed. Nothing worse than guest number 1 fed 2 hours earlier than guest 100.

Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.

Bangers On The Go was born out of our previous Falmouth restaurant Banger with a Twist. We operate in Cornwall which has a very vibrant festival, market and outdoor event scheme of which we wanted to be part of. We are very involved in the local student community and one of our initial plans we were determined to trade at the campus. 5 years later we are still there!

Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?

We have only been using Add to Event for a few weeks and have carried out our first event and our second is next week. Our first one was at a large Campsite in Newquay for a music festival. The event was amazing, we were greatly received and have even been asked to go back on a more permanent basis during the peak season. We will continue to use Add to Event, as the events that are sent to us are relevant to our profile, which is not the same as other event websites who will offer events miles outside of our submitted work area.
