What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?

For us to provide a comprehensive quote, it is important to know the event date, the number of guests and the type of the event. It is also always good to know if water and electricity are available and if the location is accessible for our pizza oven on a trailer. Finally, it's very helpful to learn of any dietary requirements as soon as possible as well.

What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

You should definitely ask the caterer about the food they provide. Try to find out if they are passionate about what they do. That always makes a big difference in the quality of the food. Also, have a look at the reviews of the previous clients.

Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.

I started Fräulicious one year ago after I moved to the UK. My whole family is in the food industry (grandma is a baker, mum and sister are both chefs and my dad runs an organic beef farm). So I basically grew up around food. I started doing another job first after I finished university but eventually realised that I am as passionate about food as the rest of my family. And there is nothing more rewarding than a happy customer who enjoys my food.

Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?

I would definitely recommend Add to Event. It is a fantastic platform for us caterers to find gigs and manage bookings. One event that pops into my mind was just a couple of weeks ago. I had explained that my oven is on a trailer and that the location has to be accessible for my car to tow the trailer. When we arrived, the first thing I saw was a staircase. Not a good idea to drive on! Eventually I found enough strong men to help me lift my 400 kg trailer up those stairs. They all were provided with free Flammkuchen and Pizzas for that evening. The event turned out to be really fantastic and they will be using us for their next event as well.
