What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?
Apart from the main details of the event, date, time, venue and reason for the occasion, etc, it would be good to know your thoughts of how you would like the day to work. It is also helpful to know a bit about the venue such as parking, access, electricity.
What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
I would want to know what is involved in the entertainment package. I would ask about material and suitability for the age range. I would also ask about the space needed and the say a little bit about the type of audience you are expecting. I would perhaps also ask what is the Unique Selling Point of the entertainment.
Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.
I have been entertaining children since before mine came along. And then learnt a huge amount from my kids and exactly what entertains them. My puppet show and pirate show are unique children's theatre, handmade, original and professional. Children love it and I get a lot of satisfaction at making children and adults happy.
Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?
I am still quite new to this platform but already have had a variety of customers; children's parties, community events and weddings. It's great to see all the details, including a map before you commit to a quote. The site is very well put together. There seems to be a lot of activity too.
