What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?

For us to provide a comprehensive quote to a customer we need to know what the party is (chill out are, picnic, sleepover?)
What theme is wanted and how long the hire is for.
Then we can accurately give a good quote based on the information.

What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Make sure they have insurance and have many different pictures to show their work. People often use other companies pictures but actually have no experience at all.

Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.

I started this business because my daughter wanted a bell tent sleepover & seeing as I have 3 kids I thought I’d get my money out of it over the years.
Now my children help with setups and takedowns for a bit of extra pocket money so it’s become a family venture and something that fits alongside my day job pretty well as it’s usually weekends.
I really enjoy adding those special personal touches and seeing the birthday/hens/party persons face light up!
