What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?

To provide an extensive quote, it would be good to see the exact schedule of the day. When and where the preparations are taking place, what time the ceremony is. Also, what time the wedding breakfast is and finally the first dance.

What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

If I was getting married (again), I would like to see a large body of work from my wedding photographer and not just a few highlights from a handful of weddings. I'd like to be sure that the photographer could politely handle every situation on a wedding day. I would need my photographer to be flexible and not tell me how its done. I'd like to work together with my photographer to produce images we were both proud of. Before booking, I would like to meet the photographer as it's very important to feel at ease with the person you hire.

Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.

Many years ago I used to shoot weddings. Back in the film days, it wasn't really a creative atmosphere. In the last decade expectations of wedding photography has dramatically changed and it is now a great creative environment, one I enjoy immensely. I now have my own studio and gallery and have won lots of awards, I couldn't think of doing anything else now, I love it.

To me its not all about money, first and foremost it's about creating art with someone, images that will mean so much to couples and for future generations.
