Midas Coffee
Midas Coffee is a mobile bar and just love to serve people and help to make their event a successful one. They give tips on what to check with your supplier and what they will need to be able to deliver the best service.
What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?
We would need the event date, whether or not you'd like us to source the ingredients (this is ideal, as we really take pride in our suppliers), the number of people, and whether or not you'd like us to charge your guests/to buy a certain amount of drinks for your event. From this, we'll be able to determine whether you'd be suited to benefit from one of our packages or a package designed completely from scratch!
What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
I'd really say it's important to make sure the provider is giving you the best service from booking, to the staff at the event. The prices people put forward may be indicative of this, and ultimately, the end goal at every event is to make sure all attendees have the best experience possible. This and making sure the provider is well versed in what they may need from you (i.e, power, water supply etc) will show whether or not they are experienced.
Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.
Midas Coffee was born because myself and my business partner really wanted to actually have a great hospitality company, which treated people well on both sides. Providing a fluid service with a strong team is truly one of the best feelings in the world - and being able to do that, for people in all places is just something quite magical. With our mobile bar, we're able to do the weirdest and most wonderful events, for people we may never have met!
Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?
So far - we've had no bookings just yet, but the level of interest has been great. It's so lovely to actually put ourselves on a platform where we can reach people who want something special for their event, whether it be a wedding or even a party... we're just so ready for whatever Add to Event throws at us!
