What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?

For us to provide a comprehensive quote to a customer, ideally we need the event date, a brief explanation of the type of event they are hosting, the estimated number of guests, and potential venue, whether it's an indoor or outdoor event. From this, we can use our experience and expertise to put together a suitable equipment list and design.

What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Firstly, ask the provider about the product they are offering, I wouldn't want my hair cut by someone who didn't know much about hair, so why drink coffee from someone who knows little about the coffee they are offering. Ask the provider about their menu and why they are serving what they are serving. After all, we provide coffee bars so that should be our main goal. Also, find out about their equipment as better equipment will mean they can make better tasting drinks more efficiently.

Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.

Funbounce Entertainers mobile bars and beverages was born out of love for all things hospitality! I have spent a decade as a wedding planner and running restaurants and cocktail bars. My passion has always been providing great service and giving people the day of their dreams. During the planning of our recent wedding, the idea of JRB events was formulated. I wanted to create a mobile bar business that had a customer focus at its core.

Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?

Wow! The season has been amazing due to Add to Events. We were so impressed with the spread of categories. We've never looked back. Highly recommend.
