The Last Word Caravan Bar is a fully licensed, Cheshire-based renovated caravan which functions as a mobile bar. Attending events of all sizes, The Last Word can attend children's as well as adults parties due to their range of soft drinks. They also hold close ties to many local bands and can provide a musical element to some bookings if required.

What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?

We provide 2 basic packages with a fixed fee. All we need to know is if a fully stocked cash bar is needed or if dry hire is requested. Extra services are available for a fee - a full list with prices is supplied upon request.

What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Firstly, who are they? If you are celebrating or holding an important event surrounded by your nearest, dearest and most trusted then the supplier should be of the same kind. Secondly, ask about the product. Knowledge of cocktails is important - they are expensive so don't risk wasting your money and spoiling your experience. Lastly, ask them why they do what they do rather than what they have done. If they lack passion on a quote they will lack passion at your event.

Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.

The Last Word Caravan Bar came alive when our daughter was born. We had talked about it many times previously but when she came along we decided it was time to practice what we would preach - follow your dreams. We are a husband and wife team, both with vast experience in hospitality and retail. We have run pubs and waited tables and have found that people and drinks are what we know and what we love. We formulated the final plan for our mobile bar after getting married in our own pub and finally felt that we could do things well, knowing that we had experienced the planning of our own wedding and understood the needs of such a special occasion.
