What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?

For us to provide a quote to a potential customer, ideally we need the date of the event, the number of guests attending, the type of event and a list of potential venues. Once we have this information, we can put an accurate quote together covering all of your needs. We like to discuss more specific needs over the phone or face to face so that you can be confident that we are meeting all of your requirements.

What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Firstly, make sure the supplier can give you everything you want for your event. Not all mobile bar providers have mixologists for example or may not be able to cope with larger events. Secondly, it is important that you are happy with the person you are talking to and the customer service you are receiving, This may reflect the level of customer service you and your guests will receive at the event.

Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.

Tipple Bar Hire was forged from our passion for weddings and events. Through our small country pub chain, we held many events ranging from vintage car meets and dog shows to high end weddings and music festivals. After selling the pubs we decided to couple our fondness of locally produced craft beers, spirits and sparkling wines with our love of events. Our focus has always been great customer service and meeting all of our customer's needs and we always aim to create that 'wow' factor for any event!

Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?

Add to Event has been amazing! We got our first booking 3 days after signing up to the service. The event was for 70 people and was very close to where we are based. The platform made it easy to communicate with the client which meant we could collect all of the information we needed to give them exactly what they wanted. On the day of the event everything went perfectly and the client was really happy. We received a great review on our Facebook page which has led to even more bookings. I regularly meet with local wedding and event suppliers and I always recommend Add to Event to help grow their business!
